Clinker by Rich Brilliant Willing, a new American design trio based in New York, created the second furniture range for the Innermost collection. Innermost met Rich Brilliant Willing in New York and it is the first collaboration between the two companies. Clinker is created from wood slats resembling clapboards, overlapping each other, random lengths create the haphazard form of the tables. The tables have a clear glass top allowing the inner wooden structure to be visible, the range will be available in bright lacquered colours including orange, black and white and also a natural oak finish
Rich Brilliant Willing were named among the "Top 40" designers by I.D. magazine in January 2009, formed by Theo Richardson, Charles Brill and Alexander Williams, Rich Brilliant Willing is an internationally recognized multidisciplinary design studio. Their methodology is evident in their work, a combination of technical sophistication with old-fashioned sleight of hand.
Innermost the exclusive international design brand specialising in trend orientated furniture, lighting and accessories collection highlights global trends developing in the interior markets.
Minimalistic Forms in Metallic Finishes
Beads, Ribbon, Buckle and Mantel are essence of the trend with sleek and innovative forms in a selection of metallic high gloss finishes, copper to
gun metal.
Beads by Winnie Lui sculptural forms created by beading together identical elements in a multitude of finishes including copper and chrome.
Buckle by Tina Leung a marriage of lighting and sculpture, consists of differently sized rings cut from stainless steel sheets suspended and
arranged in a spherical form.
Mantel Dome by Cédric Ragot is a modern rendition of the venerable carriage clock. The futuristic zinc die cast construction is topped by a blown glass dome.
Ribbon, Shin Azumi was inspired by the challenge to create a 21st century re-design of the candlestick, creating a work of grace and simplicity.
Powerfully Understate Forms in Soft Hues At the heart of the soft hues trend are Marble, Flood and MnM with delicate finishes and nude tones creating forms which are powerfully understated.
Marble by Christopher Labrooy dramatically draped chandelier in a soft natural hue with a felt finish.
Flood by Tina Leung influenced by architectural forms with interlocking shapes and a stone and resin finish.
MnM by Steve Jones a minimalist form creates the clean line silhouette of MNM with 100% Natural Wool felt finish.
Innermost brings you Jeeves and
Wooster by Jake Phipps. Named after the iconic PG Wodehouse
characters, Jake Phipps created Jeeves, and also ‘Wooster’,
tipping his hat to the Great British class system of the
late 19th century. These characters are typified by the ‘bowler’ and ‘top’ hats
they wore. The ‘bowler’ worn by the working
man and the ‘top’ sported by the gentleman of
leisure.
In the 20th century, the bowler hat became an internationally
recognized symbol of ‘Britishness’, claiming
its place in popular culture as the headwear of choice
for John Steed in swinging 1960’s TV show ‘The
Avengers’
Jeeves is
a pendant light combining a genuine handmade wool felt bowler
hat and an energy saving G9 bulb, reinforced by anodized
aluminium lining in a gold finish. Wooster is
